3damaged due to packaging
By Jonathan Brasseur
I received the order in a timely manner from Fedex, but the thin metal tube ends were damaged during shipping...I managing to hammer out the dents, but had to order the plastic end caps from the seller(never enough auto), who was more then willing to send me another order, but I didn't want the hassle fearing the same problem. So they order the parts, but the wrong ones were sent from DeeZee, so I called the manufacture(DeeZee) and made sure they cross-referenced the part and a few weeks later they end caps arrived and installed without incident. It seems that the steps are packed in a cardboard box which is not reinforced at the ends which would have prevented the damage during shipment...everything else was well packed and all hardware and instructions were included. Easy to assemble.

5Looks great and a piece o cake to install!
By Steven Troutman
Bought these for a 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Sport and couldn't be happier. Everything was included to install them, no drilling or hassles. I had them on in about an hour and they look great and would highly recommend them. Just make sure you look the instructions over well before starting the install.

5Great fit, but not as "Easy" as other reviewers have said.
By Bitsmith
These steps are a great value -- very sturdy and excellent looking. My wife has a Wrangler Unlimited Sport and the black powder-coat matches the fender flares on the Sport perfectly. They work well to let shorties get into the Jeep on their own.

I will say this -- installation is easy, but it will take some time if you don't have an impact wrench and a flex-head hex driver. There is no drilling and the kit comes with both sets of hardware for pre-threaded and non-threaded vehicles. Mine has no threads on the front and center mount points with threads on the rear. The kit bolts underneath the carriage and then has smaller hex-head screws to fit through the tiny holes below each door. You need to keep everything loose until you get it all mounted, then you can torque everything down. Once mounted loosely, you will either frustrate yourself with a manual allen wrench, or you need a flex-head socket because the bars get in the way of a straight-on drill driv er.

From other reviewers, I thought this would take about 30 mins with manual tools. Unfortunately I started this project about 20 mins before my wife wanted to take off for the store. I spent the first 30 mins fooling with the manual allen wrench and socket method before I got irritated enough to break out the impact wrench half way through. After that, it was a 45 min job with some nagging for the last 15 mins.

Excellent purchase -- I would just make sure you set your expectations accordingly. It is a 2 hour job with manual tools. On the up side, the manufacturer stamped everything with labels so there was no ambiguity in matching parts to the instructions.
