Did not fit 2012 Silverado

Vehicle search feature said that this would fit my 2012 Chevy Silverado but the brackets are all wrong. The directions in the box say for 1999-2011 silverado. Returning to amazon.

9/26/2012 after seeing a similar set installed at a shop, I admit that I was mistaken that that the brackets are indeed right for the 2012 silverado, but instead of using the rocker panel, the body bolts must be used.
