BEWARE: Won't Fit Minivans or Compact SUV's

I was very impressed by the design and materials of this tire-stepper. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not tell you that it will not fit onto tires where the vehicle's wheel well design leaves little room around the tire. This means that my Honda Odyssey minivan and compact SUV Subaru Forester did not come close in allowing this stepper to fit. Yes, I could return it easily thanks to Amazon's fine customer policies, but I wish the manufacturer was much clearer in its representations about the specific vehicles their product would fit.

More than Happy

we were very happy with our order for the HitchMate TireStep. Not only were we pleased with the product, but the shipping was also a good experience. It arrived on time! My husband has struggled with getting in the back of the truck after we were hooked upped to the fifth wheel. Now it is a breeze!

I use this product on my Class C motorhome which is on a Ford E-350 chassis. The step allows me to reach the windshield center for cleaning and holds my 270 lbs with ease. I had to add two more adjustment holes to hold the step tighter against the tire. Without the two additional holes, the step would hang at an angle.
